After an extensive two-month makeover, The Neptune, a beloved pub and carvery in Dymchurch, is delighted to welcome back its customers. A hefty £400,000 investment has transformed the seafront pub on Hythe Road into a nautical oasis, offering more space, additional amenities, and an exciting new menu.

“The transformation is truly amazing,” says manager Anthony Comber, “Our long-standing patrons and first-time visitors alike are in for a treat.” The renovation has given a historic, galleon-like charm to The Neptune, with the luxurious timbered interiors reflecting the tranquillity of the sea.

Our expanded premises now proudly boast a 30-strong team, a rotisserie kitchen, a two-tier restaurant providing over 160 covers, and bar facilities. Additionally, the outside dining areas have been re-envisioned to accommodate more than 80 diners, offering picturesque views of the sea.

We’ve also updated our menu, carefully curated to cater to a range of palates. Alongside the traditional favourites like pan-fried steak, fish and chips, rotisserie chicken, and fully stacked burgers, we’ve introduced unique options like Balti pies, calamari with aioli, and baked camembert. Plus, in an effort to promote mindful eating, each dish is accompanied by its calorie count.

This major upgrade underscores our commitment to providing a superior dining experience while maintaining the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere our customers have come to love.”

Service begins at noon each day, and continues until 9:00pm, ensuring you can enjoy Neptune’s delectable dishes at your convenience. The pub, equipped with traditional pool and darts games, remains open all day for those who wish to relax and unwind.

The significant investment in The Neptune was made by Park Holidays UK, which owns the nearby New Beach Holiday Park.
